YoMilly · last updated 19 September 2026
YoMilly is an app for writing rap. This page says exactly what happens to what you write, in
plain language. There is no tracking, no advertising, and nothing is sold to anybody.
Your songs stay yours
Everything you write — songs, bars, notes, saved lyrics, your name and your picture — is kept
on your device and synced through your own private iCloud account. It goes from
your phone to Apple's servers and back to your other devices. We cannot read it, cannot list it,
and have no way to reach it. If you sign out of iCloud, it stays on the device.
AI features
Some features — Milly, Ask the Rappers, line checks, word pages and your stats — send the line
or lines you are asking about to our server, which uses third-party AI service providers to
answer.
- Only the lines needed to answer are sent. Not your whole song, not your name, not your
account.
- Those lines are not stored by us, and our providers do not use them to
train their models.
- No identifier is attached, so requests cannot be tied to a person or to each other.
Your voice
When you record a freestyle or dictate a bar, the speech is turned into text
on your phone, by Apple's on-device speech recognition. The audio is never
uploaded, never stored, and never reaches us. What you choose to keep afterwards is saved like any
other lyric — on your device and in your iCloud.
Photos and beats
A cover photo you choose, or a beat you import, is copied into the app and stays there and in
your iCloud. Neither is uploaded to us.
Subscriptions
Payment is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card, your Apple Account, or your
name.
We use RevenueCat to check whether a subscription is active. RevenueCat receives a random
identifier generated for your install, the receipt Apple issues, and your country and device type.
It does not receive anything you have written. See
RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Artist pictures
Pictures of artists are fetched from Deezer's public catalogue by our server, not by your
phone. Deezer is not told anything about you.
What we do not do
- No analytics, no advertising, no third-party trackers.
- No accounts, no sign-up, no email address required.
- Nothing is sold or shared with anyone for marketing.
Children
YoMilly is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from
them.
Deleting everything
Delete the app to remove everything on the device. To remove the iCloud copy, go to Settings →
your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → YoMilly → Delete. Because we hold nothing of yours,
there is nothing on our side to delete — but you can write to us and we will confirm that.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the new version appears here.
